In Memory of Mike Prichard

Here are some songs from my recently deceased friend Mike Prichard. Mike was a great guy and was loved by many. He lives on in his music, machines and teachings. His advice still guides me. This podcast will grow as I download more music, so subscribe or comeback and you will hear more.

Proud to be a Secular Jew
A couple definitions from The Joys of Yiddish by Leo Rosten, an excellent book.
Mishegoss: Literally: insanity, madness. But mishegoss is more often used in a lighter vein to describe not mental disease, but 1) a wacky, irrational, absurd belief... 2) A state of affairs so silly or unreal that it defies explanation... 3) A piece of tomfoolery, clowning... 4) A fixation...

Space Face Episode Three: Arrival
Is there consciousness when you're in a hibernation chamber floating through space for a year? Or do all those angst ridden dreams occur in the final seconds before waking? You don't know. All you know is that you have a very distant memory of leaving Earth when you wake up at the orbiting Martian space station/rest area, the Martian Frontier. For most, a permanent position as host of the Martian Frontier would be claustrophobic and oppressive, but for Bill, a quadriplegic since childhood, space offers liberty and independence.

Space Face Episode Four: Martian Life and Death
So there you are on Mars at the government settlement station. Get your supplies and follow the instructions. Your life depends on them. You move into your studio geodesic dome and watch the dust blow by, day after day, night after night. There's nothing to do but wander and wander and wander away...
